A new SKU 50g was launched on 23 rd January 2023 in Morogoro, followed by an Internal launch on 24th January 2023 in Kilombero. The launch campaign dubbed, KitamTam was
accompanied by listing activities at retail stores, on-ground events, radio advertisements and social media awareness campaign. Launch events were graced by top local Singeli artists from Tanzania, Dulla Mabila and MC Balaa. The audience received more entertainment from the top MC Dr. Kumbuka.
KitamTam is a household SKU targeting the “Just-Getting-Through-The-Day” Consumer segment. 50g is designed to deliver good value to both, customers, and consumers with a retail price of Tsh 200/- only. Commercial Head, Mr. Fimbo Butallah introduced the pack to the market through media coverage done during the launch events, followed by a remarkable unveiling of our hanging sachets by the Managing Director, Mr. Guy Williams. A successful launch led to good sales of the SKU, and hopes are to further penetrate more
regions and reach more households in Tanzania with yet, another innovative consumer-driven SKU, the most affordable in the market and continue to place Bwana Sukari as the most trusted and leading sugar brand in Tanzania.
