Kilombero Sugar has reaffirmed its commitment to nurturing Tanzania's next generation of professionals by participating in the Career Success Bootcamp held at Sokoine University of Agriculture. The company, through its Human Resources team, used the platform to showcase its flagship Managers in Training Programme, a long-running initiative that has spent 24 years developing
young talent into future business leaders.
The event brought together students, industry leaders and government officials to discuss career development, leadership and opportunities available to young professionals entering the job market.
Speaking during the bootcamp, Kilombero Sugar's Human Resources Director, Diana Mwakitwange, highlighted the company's continued investment in talent development and leadership succession. She said the Managers in Training Programme remains one of the company's key initiatives aimed at equipping graduates with practical skills, professional experience and leadership
capabilities needed to thrive in the workplace.
The event was graced by Kedmon Mapana, who served as the Guest of Honour and shared insights on youth empowerment, skills development and the importance of preparing young people for meaningful careers.
