Job Purpose
The successful candidate will partner with the operations team to drive operational excellence across the business by coordinating the management of planning & scheduling across operations for normal, abnormal & capital activities for both seasons and off crop.

Specific Duties and Responsibilities

• Coordinate the management of planning & scheduling across operations for normal, and abnormal & capital activities for both seasons and off crop.
• Ensure standardized ways of work, systems and processes and technical compliance.
• Accountable to ensure all asset master data accuracy and enable decision-making and optimal maintenance strategy.
• Ensure compliance to work planning & control processes & systems.
• Manage delivery of integrated off crop planning calendar on time, in full and as per integrated Illovo Off crop standard.
• Support effective execution of off crop plan monitoring progress and providing information to manage and mitigate risks and adapt as required.
• Provide input into maintenance budget development and ensure maintenance plans align to budget.
• Enable and ensure effective maintenance execution through efficient maintenance planning.
• Ensure that the CMMS System and CBM System are clearly understood, controlled, and maintained, to consistently create awareness and motivate the benefits to all staff.
• Keeping with the overall objectives of the Company by ensuring the application of the Codes of Practice SABS ISO 9002, NOSA and identifying the quality training needs and the write up of procedures to continually improve the benefits of the CMMS system.
• Support the implementation of the “Illovo Way of Maintenance” (iAMP) to ensure Illovo is the best-in-class sugar & downstream producer.
• Hold teams accountable to the highest standards of maintenance, ensuring compliance to minimum operating standards.
• Identify L&D needs within the team and manage training through business partnership.
• Optimize maintenance performance, by holding planning department accountable to achieve the highest standards of efficiencies, quality, and agreed/required standards of planning & scheduling.
• Ensure adoption and embedding of best practices as guided by the Optimization Head

Job Purpose
The successful candidate will manage the planning and scheduling of all reactive and/or preventative maintenance work for in season maintenance initiatives to achieve optimal cost efficiency, asset availability, longevity and performance.

• Develop maintenance job plans and prepare them for scheduling and execution in season.

Job Purpose
The successful candidate will manage, distribute and close section work orders using computer program.

Specific Duties and Responsibilities

• Provide data capture service and general CMMS administration to section planners.
• Generate maintenance reports on a weekly and monthly basis.
• Monitors work orders by putting work plan on board and marking progress after getting information from responsible personnel.
• Prepares off-crop schedule by collecting work list from responsible users and captures them in system.
• Use, enter and maintain job plans is CMMS job plan library.

Job Purpose

The successful candidate will be responsible to assist the mechanical, electrical or instrumentation technician and to do various tasks in the day-to-day maintenance of distillery and associated sections.

Specific Duties and Responsibilities

• Ensuring that tools and spares are collected, cleaned, and properly stored.
• Monitoring pumps and equipment by means of a checklist and reporting defaults.
• Clean mechanical equipment as per scheduled maintenance plan.

Job Purpose

The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that all manufacturing instruments are working properly, accurately, and effectively.

Specific Duties and Responsibilities

• Attend to calls on instrument problems during shifts.
• Inspect tests, adjusts, and repair electric, electronic, mechanical, and pneumatic instruments in the factory.
• Inspects meters, indicators, and gauges to detect abnormal fluctuations.
• Removes defective instruments from system, disassembles, clean instruments, replace defective parts and reassemble instruments, using hand tools.
• Lubricates instruments and replaces defective wiring and tubing.
• Conduct tasks related with maintenance and operations teams.
• Conduct preventative maintenance on stop days and off-crop period.
• Fill logbook on the defects which occurred during the shift.

Job Purpose

• Carries out maintenance and repairs electrical breakdowns and troubleshooting at in the factory during crushing season.
