Job Purpose
The successful individual will be responsible for optimal onsite Inventory stock holding from both a financial and operational perspective, Inventory Operations Management and Stakeholder management.

Specific Duties and Responsibilities

• Drives and is responsible for Working Capital Management by optimizing Inventory holding through parameter management.
• Maintain accurate inventory levels that are data driven & customer centric.
• Manage the Inventory Operations team to ensure accurate and efficient receiving/receipting/issuing of stock; and strong customer support in terms of timing and product availability (In accordance with SLA)
• Manage the Verification team to ensure weekly stock counts is managed and completed in accordance with FCFQ and related % Error KPIs. Investigate discrepancies accordingly.
• Manage finalization of the stock counting process and ensure stock adjustments are carried out timeously.
• Delegate daily workflow and manage Expeditors to ensure expediting of outstanding orders through engagement with buying team, suppliers and requisitioners to meet promised delivery dates.
• Provide guidance on prioritizing orders based on business needs and supplier evaluation to maintain OTIF targets.
• Partner with the business to implement and drive compliance to Inventory policies, strategies, processes and guidelines​.
• Supports continuous stakeholder engagement in supply and demand planning across all business functions (i.e. Off Crop, Capex projects, Packaging, Fertilizers, etc.). This includes effective delivery on agreed demand plans.
• Lead, manage and develop capability in the local Inventory teams.​
• Use analytical data and insights to partner with various stakeholders in optimizing stock holding, forecasting demand & delivering on category supply plans.
• Coordinates the ordering of Inventory items linked to demand forecasts (aligned to production and maintenance planning) for the operation.
• Uses Qlik dashboards to drive and achieve Inventory KPIs Ensure compliance to standardized Inventory management policies, strategy, processes, and guidelines, considering customer requirements.
• Ensure compliance to the FCFQ is achieved through rigorous engagement with group and internal audit (this includes maintaining relevance to current systems, policies & procedures)
• Manage the inbound logistics and customs clearance to ensure compliance to Country Regulations
• Ensure inbound clearances are obtained prior to consignment arrival at entry port (land, air and seaports)
• Manage the outbound customs declarations for temporary exports Repair and Return
• Ensure accurate application of Customs tariffs to inbound declarations and allocation of SADC/COMESA certification to avoid h high er import duties.
• Manage the Revenue Authority audits in terms of Inbound clearances, if applicable.
• Ensure Import/Export permits are applied for and available to avoid shipment delays.
• Initiate the sourcing of Forex Cover for foreign Purchases aligned to Company Policy
• Appointment and Contract Management of the 3rd Party Logistics providers (Bonded Warehouses, Clearing Agents, Freight Forwarders)

Job Qualification and Experience

• Bachelor’s Degree in Procurement and Supply Chain Management, Commerce, Engineering, or Related
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in Procurement, Purchasing, Inventory or Supply Chain Management
• Demonstrated understanding of stores management and inventory management systems and processes
• Demonstrable track record in managing teams.
• Registration with Professional Board (PSPTB) preferred.
• Experience using ERP systems, preferably SAP.

Job Purpose
The successful candidate will be responsible for maintenance and repair of all boiler machines.
 
Duties and Responsibilities

• Boiler maintenance during steam stops and off crops.
• Operate the boiler as per set standards and procedure.
• Monitoring and controlling all boiler performance parameters.
• Controlling steam pressure and steam flow.
• Ensure safety of people and boiler.
• Ensure the working place is clean and free from any hazards.

• Ensure that all running parameters recorded and logged by checking and countersigning.

Job Qualification Requirements

Job Purpose

• Ensure all Mill Turbines and Mills are running in a specified conditions at all times of operation.

Job Purpose

Job Purpose
The successful candidate will be the Logistics Partner to Operational Readiness team and thus ensuring that the full scope of work for the Finished Goods Warehouse is delivered according to the agreed legal framework and in country SHERQ Standards.

Specific Duties and Responsibilities

• Recommend on technical queries coming from Operational Readiness Team as the custodian (expert) of ABFS and KSC FG Warehouse Standards and Best practices.
• Assessing the interface requirement between the Finished Goods Warehouse (FGW) and incoming and outgoing flows, ensuring that the design and SOPs being implemented will be operationally practical lean and efficient. Gaps to be included in the readiness plan and action items in place to eliminate the gaps.
• Ensure that WOLO principles are implemented as part of development according to the agreed legal framework by consulting the design drawings. Gaps in WOLO standards implementation should be first assessed; improvement opportunities budgeted and prioritized; and execution planned through Operational Readiness workstream. Responsible for the deliverable in the specified timeframe.
• Assist Operational Readiness team during performance tests of the Finished Goods warehouse infrastructure, systems and equipment through a partnership in designing and getting agreement on the tests based on FSCC22000 standards.
• Responsible for the capability gap and risk assessments, developing SOPs and planning of training requirements to ensure smooth and safe integration of personnel into the new infrastructure and new ways of working.
• Agree – internally in ABFS/KSC – then with Project Team the specifications for both racking and forklifts required to be provided by them, including minimum standards of materials, construction, after sales service and functionality.
• Assist to Interpret the ABFS SAP plan for specific actions pertaining to the WMS deployment in Tanzania, aligning these key milestones to those being monitored in the build of the Finished Goods warehouse and assist with WMS UAT training.
• Sign off the design and monitor the implementation of all IT hardware Standards required by the Finished Goods warehouse.
• Development and implementation of the DILO plan for operational preparedness including coordination of a training plan required to upskill all personnel pre and post GO Live.
• Coordinate the overall design, risk and security assessment of the new Finished Goods warehouse ahead of the design of CCTV, Access control systems and sourcing of all required tenant services.

 Job Qualification and Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management or equivalent
• Minimum 5 years' experience in managing projects, with specific reference to new construction or new warehouse builds
• Leadership ability to influence others, especially third parties outside the formal organizational structures

Job Purpose

• Fabricates by using welding facilities.

• Direct workers in the repair of boilers, tanks, and pressure vessels. 
• Responsible for the safety conformance of all crews and take control of workmanship.
• Monitor performance, support, and advise teams in solving problems and/or taking corrective action.
• Ensures good housekeeping by inspecting welding and fabrication premises.
• Ensures requests welding materials from stores by writing MRV/Reservation (SAP system).
• Reconditions factory spares by welding example pump shaft, coupling and other spares.
• Selecting electrodes for welding various machine components by using welding materials technology skills.
• Ensure continuous improvement by implementing functional best practices and conducting physical inspections.
• Perform all tasks with “awareness” towards the prevention of any forms of pollution to the surrounding and environment.
